My protein oat and peanut butter balls recipe is one of my favorite meal preps to make. It is super easy, and it uses ingredients that can be found around the kitchen. This recipe originally came from a Pinterest post, then my mom tweaked it a little, and I have tweaked it a little myself. It is so delicious and helps to start the day off with some good energy and protein.
Peanut Butter Balls Recipe
Ingredients:
3 cups of rolled oats
1 cup of peanut butter
1-2 scoops of chocolate protein powder
2 tbsp honey
Water as needed
Directions:
1. Incorporate the first 4 ingredients into a large bowl.
2. Add water until a desired consistency is reached. It should be well-mixed, so if it doesn’t fully combine then add a little more water.
3. Then, roll the mixture into uniform balls. I usually use a heaping tablespoon to measure this.
4 (Optional). Personally, I prefer them to be frozen, so they stay fresh longer and they get a really nice texture. If you prefer a mushier consistency, leave them in the fridge until you eat them.
These protein balls are truly exceptional. Not only are they delicious, but they also offer numerous health benefits. The recipe for these protein balls is incredibly easy to follow, which means you can whip up a batch in no time. These little treats are perfect for on-the-go snacking, post-workout recovery, or even as a healthy dessert option. The best part is that you can customize them to your liking by experimenting with different flavors and textures.
